The Isle of Wight's bluebells are looking beautiful, this spring.

In hedgerows and woodlands across the Island, clumps of the lovely spring flowers are popping up.

You have been recommending places to see them in all their glory.

Among your spectacular locations are: Combley Great Wood, near Havenstreet; Bonchurch Downs, where Megan Long Mackney describes 'swathes of bluebells in the open'; Borthwood Copse in Sandown; Ventnor Downs; Mottistone Long Stone; the Cowes to Newport cycle path; and Queen's Bower, near Newchurch.

Traditionally, bluebells represent humility, constancy, gratitude and everlasting love.

We also asked you to share your photos with us, for a beautiful online gallery.
