The Isle of Wight played host to an unusual site today (Monday) - an American Grumman HU-16 Albatross seaplane.
This fantastic photo was snapped by Terry Rann and shared in the Isle of Wight County Press Camera Club, on Facebook.
Similar large, twin-engine seaplanes are used by the United States' and Canadian armed forces and coastguards.
This one though, a 1953 model, was spotted in Colwell Bay, as its passengers headed ashore for a bite to eat.
For video, see it HERE, via the IsleofWight.com webcam in Colwell Bay, from 11.56am.

Registered to Delaware's Trousdale Aviation, the eight-seater had earlier taken off from Southampton, at around 8am this morning, before travelling via Lee-on-Solent, Selsey and Chichester airports.
It has since returned to Hampshire.
Islanders spotted it flying low over Steephill Cove and Shanklin.
